THE NEW THRESHOLD VIDEO

Hello there my friends.

The latest Threshold video ,,Small Dark Lines” was shot in Bolton a few weeks ago now, by a wonderful company called Sitcom Soldiers.
All very well organised indeed, all very friendly and if you have seen the outcome, all very good. My hat goes off to all who made their contributions, especially those who volunteered to undress, paint and then douse themselves in rather cold water. It’s amazing what people will do for their art. In fact it’s amazing what people will do full stop! I’m glad they didn’t ask any of us to do what they did. As much as I love what I do, I won’t do that! I’ll more than likely end up in hospital with a very bad cold or worse. Anyway, the end result for me was nothing less than brilliant, considering that performance videos have been around for as long as I can remember or as long as wood has been floating. It was fun! Steve the bass player said, and I quote, “I haven’t moved that much since I was attending martial arts classes”. Shame on you, Steve! Karl, well Karl is Karl and you couldn’t shake him with an H bomb! He would only ask, “What was that noise, was it my amp?”. No Karl, it wasn’t.



Very little makeup needed for me.
But the others, well it could have been RuPaul’s Drag Race. Only kidding, then again you may see a different side to Threshold when you see us next. No, I’m not talking about gender reassignment. I always find it difficult playing (or not playing, if you see what I mean) to a playback, as you have to get it right, and sometimes you can see that. Oooops, he got that wrong, didn’t he? Spot the mistake and you win a free T-shirt. Just kidding!

So far as for me to say a big thank you to Sitcom Soldiers and all their staff. Thank you to the volunteers who gave their precious time to make their valuable contribution and especially to the young lady who made her way from Sweden. Thank you so much and we are very gracious for your efforts. And to you who have seen the video and liked it (or not?) I lay my hat down to all of you.
